Another ‘Defund Police’ Group Endorses Katie Hobbs

Another group that advocates for defunding the police has endorsed Arizona’s Democrat gubernatorial candidate, in a move that is becoming a pattern.

“As Arizonans grapple with an all out ban on abortion that [Kari Lake] has promised to defend, I’m proud to have [NARAL Arizona’s] endorsement. Arizonans deserve a governor who will fight to let them make their own decisions about their lives, families, & futures,” said Secretary of State and Democrat candidate for governor Katie Hobbs.

NARAL stands for National Abortion Rights Action League.

The group’s national website says the following:

NARAL Pro-Choice America supports the demands of the Movement for Black Lives, including defunding the police and investing in Black communities, which are a response to hundreds of years of systemic oppression and the failure of reforms to address urgent needs and injustices. Budgets reflect our priorities. As such, the call to defund the police is also a call for investment in Black communities—in urgent needs that are currently underfunded, like access to healthcare, education, social services, and more. Through this investment, we can work to make sure every person, every parent, and every family is able to thrive.

Defunding the police has been a lightning-rod issue, and one that Lake has hit Hobbs on before.

When Planned Parenthood, another pro-abortion group, required candidates to reject support from law enforcement organizations – both financially and in the form of endorsements – in order to receive its endorsement, Hobbs complied.

Lake seized on that opportunity for an attack.

“‘Planned Parenthood Arizona is requiring candidates to either reject or return contributions from law enforcement organizations to receive an endorsement,” the Lake campaign said at the time. “[Katie Hobbs] sold out Arizona’s Law Enforcement officers to win Planned Parenthood’s support. And now she’s lying about it.”

She further attacked Hobbs:

What does Katie Hobbs believe? Hobbs has been endorsed by Planned Parenthood, which has endorsed the movement to defund the police. In fact, according to Axios Phoenix, Planned Parenthood Arizona is not only “requiring candidates to either reject or return contributions from law enforcement organizations to receive an endorsement,” but “saw [a candidate’s] endorsement rescinded after she supported the city’s budget, which included funding for police.”

It is unfathomable to me, but there actually are people who will support and vote for this radical, corrupt Marxist woman for Governor of the State of Arizona. And if she does happen to be elected Governor, and she then destroys the liberties and the wealth of the people of her State, these same people will be delighted that she has done so. IMO, Marxism is Satanic and demonic.

I suppose that THIS state of affairs is what Jefferson was referring to when he made his famous “tree of liberty” statement. And Jefferson was prescient enough to understand this more than two hundred years ago. And people today, who think that they are sooo smart, make foolish statements such as saying that the Founding Fathers did not have cell phones, etc., and thus could not have possibly understood such and such about life in the Twenty-first Century, and thus should be disregarded and ignored.
